Insects

Having initiated macro / insect photography for more than 2yrs now, this is my initial library of some selected photographs that I like. All were taken with Nikon D200 or Nikon D3S using AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 IF-ED lens or 200mm f/4 lens. Please feel free to provide your comments, so that I can improve further. Also, I am no entomologist so unable to identify all of these pretty insects accurately. If you know any of these, pls. do provide species name in comments and I will update accordingly. Also, more importantly, none of these photographs have been taken in the zoo and neither any artificial baits been put to attract these insects. All shots are taken in natural environment with all caution to minimize disturbance to these creatures. Hope you enjoy this gallery.
