Birds Of India
This gallery is a sincere effort to document birds of India. I've got two fold objective in bird photography (a) first is for documenting various species in India and their behavior and (b) second is to bring an artistic perspective that is visible beyond the naked eye. As such you will find some pictures not so good as others meant for art as they are pure for documentation purpose only. If there are any species identified incorrectly, pls do email me and I will be glad to update them as soon as possible.
None of these photographs have been taken in the zoo or of tamed birds, neither have any artificial perches or bait been put to attract these birds. All shots are taken in wild environment with all caution to minimize disturbance to the birds. Also, I am not a big fan of Photoshoping photographs - as such these photographs are as shot, with minor crop, spot removals, exposure and contrast changes done in Adobe Lightroom. Hope you enjoy this gallery.

on January 6, 2011Hey Pradeep, Thank you so much for your comments and appreciation. I hope the D7000 info helps you in your decision. Regarding EXIF/Metadata of images, they are there on all images. If you hover the mouse on the picture there is a blue box with "I" in it. Click on that it will give you all the details. If you are seeing the picture in "large" mode, there is a "info" tab on the top, click on the same and it will give you the details. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any question. Cheers. Asif
